Taj to introduce two Bahrain properties

According to the Financial Chronicle; Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, part of Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), plans to launch two five star hotels in Bahrain under a management contract. As part of its West Asia expansion, the company has formed a JV with a real estate developer to work on the two properties. The contract does not involve any capital expenditure from the Taj, however, the hotel group will receive a management fee consisting of a fixed percentage of revenues earned.
